V14.3.4 llegó con el SW 2026.14.6.11. La estrené el Día del Padre, por la costa noroeste, bajo lluvia. Se siente mejor que la anterior; pero todavía hay lugares donde tiene dudas… y otros donde el que dudó fui yo.

V14.3.4 arrived with SW 2026.14.6.11. I took it out for the first time on Father's Day, along the northwest coast, in the rain. It feels better than the last one; but there are still places where it has doubts… and others where the one with doubts was me.

Como en toda versión, los primeros minutos marcan el tono. En el badén de salida de casa lo tuve que frenar yo, igual que siempre. Y en el cruce de salida —cuatro carriles divididos por una valla— mantuvo el comportamiento de toda la v14: no se atreve a cruzar a menos que los cuatro carriles estén despejados, algo casi imposible en una avenida principal. Tuve que ayudarlo acelerando.

As with every version, the first few minutes set the tone. At the speed bump leaving home I had to slow it down myself, same as always. And at the exit crossing — four lanes split by a median — it kept the v14 behavior: it won't cross unless all four lanes are clear, which is nearly impossible on a main avenue. I had to help it along by accelerating.

El mejor momento fue la lluvia. Cuando empezó a llover fuerte salió el aviso de «FSD degradado» en pantalla, y aun así siguió como si nada: en su carril, respetando las líneas, sin frenar sin razón. Para mí ese fue el salto real de esta versión.

The best moment was the rain. When it started pouring, the "FSD degraded" warning came up on screen, and it still kept going as if nothing happened: in its lane, respecting the lines, no braking for no reason. For me that was the real leap of this version.

Después llegamos a la primera casa de la rutina del día. La entrada es bien estrecha; el carro empezó a meterse solo y nunca titubeó, pero yo no aguanté la presión y tomé el control. Estábamos cerca del muro y no sé si todavía hubiera entrado solo. A la salida, en cambio, salió de esa misma entrada solo, sin problema. Y en la segunda visita esperó a que abrieran el portón, entró y se estacionó solo.

Then we reached the first house on the day's route. The driveway is very narrow; the car started pulling in on its own and never hesitated, but I couldn't take the pressure and grabbed the wheel. We were close to the wall and I'm honestly not sure if it would still have made it on its own. On the way out, though, it left that same driveway by itself, no problem. And on the second stop it waited for the gate to open, drove in and parked itself.

El balance final: 98% de autonomía en el recorrido. La v14.3.4 se siente mejor que la v14.3.3 — sobre todo bajo lluvia — aunque los detalles de siempre (el badén, el cruce de cuatro carriles) siguen ahí. Y la intervención más memorable del día no fue del carro: fue mía.

The bottom line: 98% autonomy across the drive. V14.3.4 feels better than v14.3.3 — especially in the rain — even though the usual details (the speed bump, the four-lane crossing) are still there. And the most memorable takeover of the day wasn't the car's: it was mine.
